What is the history and popularity of the app?

PiX ‘n’ Pals was launched on September 14th 2007 by Disruptive Media LTD. The application was intended to give internet users a simple way to share photos from events. What are the differences to other apps?

PiX ‘n’ Pals is entirely focused on sharing event photos. Many users already share photographs on sites like Facebook and Twitter. While these can work and users can explore photos taken by others, they are a bit cumbersome when trying to combine photos in one place. PiX ‘n’ Pals gives uses a simple, convenient way to upload photos taken by all attendees to one location. Users can share their events pages so others can upload and explore images on their own time.
